"My uterus did not ask for your opinion"

Seeing someone whose name rhymes with 'shite tub' smugly replying to a person who was making a much-needed, if clumsily-worded point about how trans men are discriminated against in reproductive care with 'you think trans women aren't discriminated against in reproductive care?'
is just like
THE FIRST PERSON WAS TALKING SPECIFICALLY ABOUT OBSTETRICS.
Y'know, that field that is separated out from other reproductive health because it is actually infamously delicate and dangerous, even to this day. It isn't its own field because of that mythical 'afab privilege' some people on here genuinely seem to believe in.
Every person with a urological system might see a urologist.
Every person with a vagina (including neo vaginas) might see a gynaecologist.
Only people who can get pregnant will see an obstetrician. And within that group, GUESS WHO FACES A PARTICULAR INTERSECTION OF MISOGYNY AND TRANSPHOBIA (that can be further complicated by racism, ableism, intersexism and more)???? In a field ALREADY fraught with fucking pro-life bullshit?
That's right! It's trans men, transmasculine people, and nonbinary people with uteruses!
Saying 'oh but EVERY trans person struggles to access reproductive care :)' is actually purposefully downplaying the SPECIFIC struggles of every trans person who can get pregnant, in a world where MANY countries do not protect abortion as a right, and will literally force trans men to detransition so 'the Testosterone won't harm the baby :)'.
Trans men, transmascs, and nonbinary people with uteruses face all the USUAL troubles with accessing reproductive care that are associated with medical transphobia (with a literal extra on the side, if they want to use T, as it is, y'know, a controlled substance.)
AND they face an extra form of discrimination on top, specifically in obstetrics.
Obstetric care is something that, yes, WILL AFFECT trans people with uteruses more than trans people without uteruses. That is a simple fact.
And you can all die mad about it.
Concerns also extend to families who use in vitro fertilization and women with IUDs.
"A North Carolina bill making headlines nationwide would ban abortion at any stage of pregnancy, classify the procedure as first-degree murder and authorize the use of deadly force to stop it — prompting swift pushback from advocates.
House Bill 1232 states: "Any person who willfully seeks to destroy the life of another person, by any means, at any stage of life, or succeeds in doing so, shall be held accountable for attempted murder or for first degree murder, respectively."
The bill goes on to say, "Any person has the right to defend his or her own life or the life of another person, even by the use of deadly force if necessary."
Advocates warn the language implies that anyone could use lethal force against a woman seeking an abortion or a physician involved in performing one. Concerns also extend to families who use in vitro fertilization and women with IUDs."

"Right to life" my ass. "Right to control/rule" is what they're after and what they've ALWAYS been after.
THE REPUBLICAN WAR ON WOMEN AND LGBTQIA+ WON’T STOP UNTIL WE STOP IT.

My post on the 100% hypocrisy of the so-called “Pro Life” movement
If abortion sends fetuses straight to Jesus, and going to Jesus is the ultimate goal of this life…why is abortion bad? That fetus never had the chance to sin and go to hell, till be with Jesus forever and never suffer.
Merry Christmas!
