3, 24, 25, 44, 45 for the writing ask game?
3. Computer or pen and paper?
good ol pen and paper. I write so much more in a physical notebook and have about a dozen of them all used for different purposes. and a steno notebook intended to keep track of short story ideas but i lost briefly... i will then make a 2nd/final draft on the pc using the story draft in physical notes and edit the best this way! (if I begin digitally i don't edit at all)
24. Favourite genre to write and read
i love sff so much it hurts. if a story says its fantasy and it gives me magic realism at best i drop it
25. Favourite part of writing
i love worldbuilding! lately i have been forcing myself to not World Build As Much because it was bogging me down. but i have started to form a conlang because i love worldbuilding so much. im normal
44. How much research do you do?
i once read a very long, real life manual on how to man a lighthouse that was written in like the 1800s for keepers because i wanted to write a story that took place in a lighthouse. it took me an entire shift at work to get through. if that tells you anything
45. How much world building do you do?
umm. hehe. though like i said i've been reigning it in and taking a page from yoko taro's book where he's like "ok. here's a town. and over here is another town. and there is a desert as well. and maybe some ruins." and focusing on world building in other ways (like how the plot will impact for years to come) rather than cultural and language worldbuilding.
