@mythical-muses for Gemma
There was a hell of a lot to process in the wake of everything that had happened, and not least because she had been certain it was her death she had seen in those visions. That she had been falling onto those swords, not...well, she still wasn't sure how she'd ended up back on The Road, the exit blinking at her.
Coming back to her shop, the place had seemed strange, almost unfamiliar, as if it belonged to someone else. She wasn't the same person anymore, the same witch; she wasn't hiding from her powers, and she wasn't letting fear rule her anymore either.
But habits were hard to break and bills still had to be paid. She kept the shop open, seeing customers, putting on a show while privately wondering what to do next.
Hearing the latest chime of the bells above her door, Lilia stepped through with a warm smile.
"Welcome to the curious," she greeted, but then stopped mid-step as she looked at the girl stood there, frowning at something undefined. She wasn't someone she'd ever met before, she was certain, but still there was something that gave Lilia pause; something incredibly familiar. She could sense it.
Pushing past her frown, she forced herself to continue, doing her best to cover the moment. "What answers are we hoping to find today?"
