11: Talk about the best dream you've ever had.
Hmm my favourite dreams are recurring ones. One's of a little town/camp near a lake, and the people there are really nice and sometimes I see familiar faces and houses when I dream it again! Another is of my Auntie Muriel's house, back when I had no idea what her house looked like. It has huge rooms and so many staircases and the furniture is like a faded red/pink and frilly and there are some rooms you aren't allowed to go in, but I do anyway.
38: Talk about songs that remind you of certain people.
Lies by Marina and the Diamonds reminds me of jennydrah, Stomach Tied in Knots by SWS reminds me of Ryan aka Angel Guy, EMI by the Sex Pistols reminds me of my mom, Bleed It Out by Linkin Park reminds me of my brother, In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by Iron Butterfly reminds me of my Dad, and yeah there are lots more.

well recently I have been filling an art book with the alphabet, with songs and so on, but I always feel a tad disappointed by what it looks like, as the colours are never 100% accurate! it is a ridiculously fun thing to do though. might post some of it eventually, maybe
That’d be cool! I don’t think you can ever get them spot-on, but sometimes you find close matches and it’s good. I like seeing what other people see, even if they do grate on my nerves sometimes!
hey, our Ds, Ss, Ys, Saturday and 2012 are exactly the same! Though Thursday is my favourite word because it's lilac with bits of yellow, and sort of glows like it's paint powder with light shining behind it. Found your post really interesting to read about!
Really? That’s so cool! And it’s great that Thursday is your favourite word… It’s not a bad word, just the day is bad, sorta thing.
Thanks! Maybe you should do something similar? I found that it’s sorta fun to do, especially as an associator :p
Hey, over my hol I finished More Than This; oh my god, it was absolutely brilliant! pretty much felt like I was going into it blind because the blurb, opening few chapters etc were so vague, and it was one of the most interesting things I've ever read... I absolutely loved all of the characters (espesh Tomasz; felt like there were similarities between him and I) and I liked the fact that it had a similar feel in a way to Chaos Walking; a rustic sci-fi feel, if you know what I mean? I loved it!
!!!!
I love it when people talk More Than This to me!!
I totally get what you’re saying oh my gosh pretty much everyone I’ve talked to who’s wanted to read More Than This have been like “Well I don’t really know what it’s about but…” although to be honest I feel like that’s just P.Ness’ stile.
The characters are absolutely amazing, they’re all so well rounded and flawed and human oh my gosh, I loved Seth but Regine was my favourite, although there is a soft spot in my heart for Tomasz too of course.
Again I know what you mean it’s similar but different? Like you can tell it’s a Patrick Ness book because it has that scifi with a rustic and older feel with simple but complex moral messages and personal growth and just wow.
I am so glad you liked it!!!!
Everyone should read this book!!
xx

oh, it sounds wonderful. my friend read it and she really recommended it as well. I love how the blurb is so ambiguous, I’m so excited to read it. (also it’s hard back so I can’t stop touching and smelling it)
It's amazing, it's like CW where you can't really say much about it without giving away major spoilers but yeah you should read it when you can and tell me all of your feels (I just sit and stroke it, it's starting to be an issue)
mythoughtswillnotkeepstill replied to your post:I’m re reading More Than This oh gosh, why did I...
ooh I can’t wait to read that, it’s on my summer list!
It is absolutely phenomenal, it took me about two days ish to read it the first time round and this is about my third and it still gets me every time. I'm not saying I like it more than Chaos Walking but it's certainly a very, very close call.
