Pride Month Tag Game 🌈🏳️🌈
I was tagged by @greenteadumplings! Thank you so much, sweetie.
Pick something, whether it's the main colour of a scene or an item in a shot from a ql show or movie that you think of, which corresponds to a colour of the rainbow flag: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet.
Game created by @colourme-feral ♥
Red
I immediately thought of A league of their own (lesbian sports drama, made in the US, 8 episodes, one season, not renewed for a second season), for the color red and of course I need to shout out my favorite character of the show: my girl Max. ♥
Orange
Love for love's sake (isekai psychological drama with bl romance from South Korea, one season, 8 episodes in total) nailed its ending in the same way it nailed every single topic it decided to focus on, this show is a masterpiece and everyone should watch it.
Yellow (there is no yellow shade on Tumblr sigh)
We all know how important red, blu and yellow are in the storytelling of PatPran's relationship in Bad Buddy (romcom BL from Thailand), and while I couldn't find the gif of the moment I wanted I still wanted to include this amazing show for this game.
Green
Not exactly QL, but queer and amazing, I couldn't not include my dearest show Koi Senu Futari (Japanese drama about two people who are aroace and enter a qp non sexual relationship).
Blue
I'm going to cheat and mention two shows.
Blue is such a fondamental color in the entirety of Call me by no name (psychological GL from Japan), that I just had to include it.
I will remember the delicacy and beauty of this scene from Blueming (BL romance drama from South Korea) forever, and I just had to include it.
Purple
Jira's beautiful paintings in all the shades of pink and purple and red immediately came to my mind for this, therefore I thought: why not. I included Burnout Syndrome as well (social commentary about capitalism, BL drama from Thailand).
Honorable mention
There is no specific color I think about when I think about TsukuTabe (She loves to cook, she loves to eat, Japanese GL drama, two seasons, twenty episodes, will MAYBE get renewed for a third season in the future), but it had to make an appearence in this post, considering how much I love it.
