Just ranting/venting

Every single day I fight between quitting my job, but also trying not to sound “ungrateful” at the same time. My job hiring me last year is the reason I got my apartment and I have all these amazing things about where I work but it’s also stressful as fuck! I don’t know if I sound ungrateful for what I do have already or if I even have the right to be over my job every other day It’s just always something, don’t even get me started on being a black women in the work place...that’s a whole nother’ piece I’ve had to learn to live with working in Corpprate America, I am so fucking sick of it all I’m tired of being tired.

If you honestly read through this whole ranting paragraph I thank you! I’ve built up these emotions and I am also tired of talking about this with my friends and family...I’d rather let loose here, I feel so much better after doing so.

My #pizzahut day

Let me tell you, it isn't always easy to keep going on working at Pizza Hut. Today I worked a double. Open to close. I had no cook for our lunch time rush. and well I got my butt kicked. And in the middle of this, what did occur?(lol) well my district manager called. And preceded to yell, and even curse at me... what a lovely day...

I walked away. I stepped outside, my server and driver had my back, said they would cover any orders. I took a moment to breath. And I said to myself. I'm just too burned out to let her get to me today.

I stepped back into the kitchen, knowing my crew had my back, and continued with my day.

I guess its just the pizza hut life...
