Every (evil) organization needs a group that functions in the shadows. The Shadow Unit (better name pending) is exactly that for the group they serve.
From left to right:
N’veermori, code name “Nobody”. She is an Oseinan Deep Dweller (aka, the new name for the Cephalopods, because... they aren’t actually Cephalopods what was I thinking?) Many years ago, one of her ancestors was cursed, so that their family might become magically unmemorable. One moment you’re speaking with them, the next you don’t recall what you were doing or why you just felt like you were talking to someone. There are exceptions to this curse - certain things can be used to block the effect (the gem-things on the other two’s wrists, for example), and it was planted on her family in a time before cybernetics and robotics existed, so technology (and those who are enhanced with enough of it) will still remember that she exists.
Colette Berdea, code name “Mirage”. A terrifying Tibian Kangaroo who follows the Tibian culture’s ‘The Strong Survive’ mantra perhaps a bit too seriously. While outwardly playful, friendly, and cheery, this is a front she puts on to get people to lower their guard.Colette is, in reality, a fearsome woman with the power to manipulate the senses of those in her range. Her weapon of choice is a lantern, which most people may initially find odd... until she uses it, and they suddenly change their minds. She functions as a de-facto leader of the unit, in part because Nobody is so hard to recall and Aerial is so young comparatively.
Valerie Jameston, code name “Aerial”. A displaced human - yes, a human, from Earth - who wound up in the care of the organization this group is a part of. Valerie developed odd powers not long before she vanished from Earth, and uses them - flight, permeation, the ability to see through most if not all solid objects, and having a biological life support system - in coordination with her allies. She also has a very unique aspect of her powers - she can grant other people her powers through contact, though she has to maintain it and she herself cannot use the abilities when they have been given to someone else.
