Red Queen Summer Ship Bingo!

June 21st to August 29th

Welcome to inaugural Summer Ship Bingo! Enjoy a summer full of your favorite Red Queen ships with fun prompts to pick up whenever you want! Any kind of fanwork is welcome, whether that be art, boards, graphics, or fics!

How this will work: 

There will be a main bingo card (5x5, 25 prompts total) for you to pick your prompts from. Your goal is to get bingo 

Five squares in a row

Five squares in a column 

Five squares  in a diagonal

A Full board (black out) 

There will also be two 3x3 boards (9 prompts total) posted throughout the session with a set theme and extra challenges! (same bingo rules apply!) 

The bingo boards will be posted on the following days: 

Main Board (5x5)- Friday, June 19th 

Challenge Board 1- Friday, July 3rd

Challenge Board 2- Friday, August 7th 

You may do one work per prompt, or, use as many prompts as you wish in one work.

For each work, make a post and list which prompts you have checked off. You will be responsible for keeping track of your own board.

If you get bingo, be sure to make a post and list the prompts completed (bonus points if there are links to the respective work(s)!) You will be featured as one of our completionists. If you don’t go all the way, no worries! This is all to have fun and be creative!

The Ultimate Red Queen Ship, Redux

begins TOMORROW! Here's what you need to know:

Methodology:

This is a single-elimination, seeded tournament. Each ship was given it seed based on the amount of Ao3 fics under that tag. There are a total of 32 ships

Voting:

I don't want to clog the tag, so the first round (16 ships) will be on Google Forms. After that, each poll will be on Tumblr.

For every other round, polls will be posted, staggered at every 5 minutes, at 8AM EST on the first day of each round.

Voting will last for 3 days each.

Schedule:

Round 1: March 15th- March 18th (forms)

Round 2: March 19th - March 22nd (Tumblr)

Quarter Finals: March 23rd- March 26th (Tumblr)

Semi-Finals: March 27th- March 30th (Tumblr)

Finals: March 30th- April 2nd (Tumblr)

Campaigns:

Red Queen has a plethora of ships, canon and not, popular and so rare you might find one shooter. But in this tournament, it's all put to the ultimate test: Public Opinion.

Red Queen Scavenger Hunt!

May 25th - June 5th (12PM EST)

Summer Bingo Prompts come out NEXT WEEK! In the meantime, the Norta Event Council is excited to send everyone on a scavenger hunt! We are lucky to have a plethora of aspiring and established creators in this fandom who all deserve recognition, whether that be our artists, our writers, playlist makers, headcanon experts, moodboard creators, and so many more!! 

There are two hunts: The Creator Hunt and The Supporter Hunt. Each will have ten clues to check off with different works (more information in Rules). You may do both, one, or none! All we want is for folks to have fun, and to keep our fandom thriving!

In order to complete the scavenger hunt, each submission should be a post with links or screenshots (when applicable) to/of the work. You may post own clue at a time, group them together, or post all at once (as long as you keep track!) Posted works and WIPs are eligible. A sample submission post is under the cut. You do not have to complete each clue! 

RULES:

DO NOT repost any works which are not your own, please provide links! 

Your submission should come in the form of a post with @nortaeventcouncil tagged. You must include the prompt and either a snippet or a link to the corresponding work to qualify.

Clues are up to interpretation. For example, “Heat” can be the word itself, or a demonstration of it. Related words like hot, warmth, warm, would also qualify. 

You may only use one individual work per prompt. No double dipping! Caveat: Different chapters in a long fic can count as individual works, but use no more than two. Example: Using chapter one for clue three and chapter six for clue eight. 

Supporter Hunt: You may use up to three works from one creator. 

Scavenger Hunt submissions will close June 5th at 12PM EST (noon).
