Final Negotiable Major Project Evaluation
These are my final Negotiable Major Project evaluation reflection answers, which describe my overall effort and development as a graphic design student and graduate.
I feel very proud and confidant with the quality and standards of work I’ve created for this entire course period, whilst constantly increasing, improving and developing my own individual skills for usage in the future application’s in employment and the development of my own Online & personal branding work.
My submission consists of 2 sketchbooks, 1 Poster.A Day folder, 1 x Poster.A Day flipbook & 1xMarvellouse Macaroons Cook Book and 1x PDF Submission
My overall Negotiable Major Project has helped me in the development of my creative practice, as it has been a very educational, creative and an extreme learning curve as a young learning graphic designer. It has helped me to enhance and improve my creative skills through design & development, whilst creating typographic and digital work that has increased in quality thanks to this constant push of creativity and independent working opportunities.
I would rate my overall personal engagement in terms of taking responsibility and management in the production of my work for my entire NMP very consistent and to a high standard, as I have constantly been creating and evaluating my work to constantly improve my work to the final quality and quantity it is now.
My time management has been a very high standard of creating large amounts each day to further improve and increase my overall quality of work.
My decision making and choice of resources had been a key factor, which has constantly been improving and increasing in quality / quantity through my entire NMP course for all my three chosen brief.
I would rate my overall NMP submission quality as very good after a long process of designing and evaluating my work to increase the overall final visuals to a high creative standard. I feel my poster.a day & Marvellous Macaroons brief went extremely well in terms of creative though, quality of work and time management to create professional high quality work, but for my Men’s Room Branding brief I found it difficulty and challenging to create professional high standards of branding work that suited their business.
If I could change anything about my NMP I would take the time to better plan and design visuals for the men’s room, which would result in a larger quantity of final outcomes that looked really and ready for application to the business right away.
I have learn a lot during my NMP project that I will take into future practise after graduation, such learning I have gained will be to research, develop and plan creative work better to result in quicker production and high quality of work as final end result. Overall reducing the design time to complete every brief set by my employer.
I would say my overall efforts and achievement for this NMP would be Very Good to Excellent, as I feel myself I have worked to the maximum and highest standards of work I can produce in the time-scale set over multiple briefs. I have constantly been pushing and developing myself as a designer to achieve the highest of grades and quality of work possible.
I feel this entire course of NMP has increased my overall standard and quality of work I can create & produce as final visual’s thanks to the diversity and verity of brief choice opportunities to create work I feel confidant I can produce to a high quality and professional style I would be happy and am proud to show others & industry individuals.
