Verizon And HP Introduce First Notebook PCs To Use Verizon 4G LTE Network
From the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Verizon Wireless and HP today announced the industry’s first notebook PCs to use the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Mobile Broadband network – the HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr Notebook PC and the Compaq CQ10-688nr.
Taking full advantage of the improved bandwidth and low latency of the Verizon 4G LTE network, the new HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr and Compaq CQ10-688nr are expected to provide blazing fast online experiences. Customers can expect download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in 4G Mobile Broadband coverage areas. The HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr allows customers to stream high-definition (HD) content, play games, video chat, and download music, photos and videos all within seconds rather than minutes. Small, slim and stylish, the Compaq CQ10-688nr allows users to stay connected and access their music, photos and files on the go.
