N8bit-PixelHate(EP Review)

N8bit is a chiptune/electronic artist and PixelHate is his latest EP which is will in the future will be extended to a twelve track album but for now we have this four track EP.

     These four tracks are particularly infectious. The brightly textured melody's and buzzing bass all make for an engaging listen. They're all pretty upbeat and though they're good they're for the most part similar in nature. The first two tracks ''To The Brim'' and ''Orchid''  to me are more high energy as far as the mood. ''It's Up To Her'' is the more relaxed track of the four at the beginning but as the track progresses it becomes more layered and is a very pretty track. ''Ice Pond'' is probably my favorite cause it reminds of every ice level you'll go through during the 16 bit Sonic days.

     It's a small sample but a good one. These tracks are exactly what I would want to play video games too which means they do what they set out too. I would like to see how much he can vary his sound on full length though.  If you're into 8bit electronic music I'd definitely check out some of N8bit's music. I'm looking forward to what he comes out with next.
