A visit to Choa Chu Kang vegetable farm 🌱
Together with Mr. Whye, I was led by Catherine to visit her brother-in-law and third brother’s vegetable farms. The farmers and their families were very friendly, sharing with us their knowledge about natural composting and fertiliser making. They explained how vegetables thrive when given sufficient sunlight and water, and also guided us on the right time to harvest them. It was an eye-opening and enriching experience learning directly from the farmers themselves.
