"The NACA Test Force
The fleet of NACA test aircraft are assembled in front of the hangar at the High Speed Flight Station, (later renamed the Dryden Flight Research Center) in Edwards, California. The white aircraft in the foreground is a Douglas Aircraft D-558-2 Skyrocket. To its left and right are North American F-86 Sabre chase aircraft. Directly behind the D-558-2 is the P2B-1 Superfortress, (the Navy version of the Air Force B-29). Also known as the 'mothership,' the P2B-1 carried aloft the D-558-2 Skyrocket under its fuselage. Once reaching altitude, the D-558-2 was released from the 'mothership' after which the pilot ignited its onboard rocket engine."

NASA didn't stop exploring the oceans and started studying space because they found something terrifying there, they never studied the oceans in the first place!
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) comes from the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA); NACA was formed in 1915 and dissolved in 1958 to form our beloved NASA.
There's nothing, and there'll probably never be anything "so scary" in the ocean that makes us want to flee the planet. Animals are just animals, viruses are just viruses, microorganisms are just microorganisms. No scientists will ever be so scared of something in their field as to neglect its study.

NASA was created to replace NACA on October 1, 1958.
Natsu Barrage 1
I've got enough of these sprites to last me for a while, boys. (人◕ω◕) This first week will be spent sharing @vergilsama922's glorious work in pairs... Tonight's the exception for obvious reasons. Tonight we bask in Brandi-chan, Cana-chan, and Erza-chan~... The only girls I'm missing from my usual lineup of Natsu's is Chelia and Sayla. Beyond them, I've got everyone else, all 13 of the girls I most like to ship with Natsu. (人◕ω◕)
We can expect different group shots and even crossovers in the coming weeks and months~... The first week is the debuts, however. Rejoice~ \(人◕ω◕)/
