So glad we finally got to see seok hyeong :’) I knew they were waiting for the finale for the OG OBGYN cameo

Having a second Minha cameo was also such a lovely surprise

I’m so sad that the show got cancelled…This is it for that beautiful Yulje universe we’ve cherished for years. It’s just such a shame because as ardently as I loved hosplay, I loved resident playbook way more, against my own expectations. I guess it’s the precise relatability of the struggles of 28 y-o first-year residents all the way through transitioning into second-year, and the mirror I felt like I was looking into watching Yi-young practice her job with a complete lack of passion yet a diligence emanating from moral conscience and work ethic…It made me feel so much better. It reassured me that you don’t have to be in love with your job to do your best. You shouldn’t feel guilty about your heart’s disinterest and personal feelings about the job, as long as they don’t cause you to be less diligent and invested in your tasks.

This show just aired at such a perfect time in my life. I’ll carry it with me going forward.

I’m grateful to the cast, writers and directors, and everyone involved in this beautiful project 🫶🏻

I started writing this heiji and ran brotp fanfic back in 2016, bit by bit every year, and I’m hoping to finish it and publish it on ao3 this summer. I’m pretty sure I’m the only one to ever care about this headcanon friendship, but if a single person ends up reading it, I’ll be satisfied :’) stay tuned
