After seeing Heo Nam Jun underutilized as a secondary character in When the Phone Rings, it’s so satisfying seeing him as the male lead in My Royal Nemesis.

The plot is a little messy but I don’t mind at all because the main couple has me obsessed. Like what do you mean they’re BOTH unhinged and ruthless, and they got that way because of all they suffered, but they have soft tender hearts inside, and they become the cutest yet most cutthroat couple of all time?

I love how Cha Se Gye has his period of denying he’s in love but quickly gets over it. “Whatever I love you that’s a fact and I’m going to make it everyone’s problem now!”

Im Ji Yeon somehow becomes different people through her facial expressions alone. Her character’s boisterous self-satisfied laugh and smugness when she triumphs over something is so funny.

Yoon Byung Hee as Son Jae Han (Se Gye’s right-hand man) is hilarious and my favorite side character in this drama.

I also loved the montage of him speed dating other chaebol heirs like they’re business interviews and offending all of them. “Time is gold” lol

I see multiple blatant Kopiko coffee candy product placements in a Korean drama and I'm never tempted to get some, but one scene of the main couple eating ramyeon later and here I am grabbing a four-pack of Shin Ramyun at the store.
