I was talking with nadixoxo about this clue giving by Marlene, about which she said: "PLL starts January 6 and the finale ends here. Many clues to be found in this song. #PatsyCline #WalkinAfterMidnight #ForReal", and the fact that she said it would completely change the series.
I was thinking about new things that this could hint to. Maybe after the girls realize Alison was actually good, they go looking for her, and find her dead - that would completely change the series, because the girls would finally have "closure" with Alison. They would know she isn't A and where she is (because they were looking for her not knowing if she was dead for one year).
But nadixoxo thought of another possibility - maybe this will go back to the night Alison disappeared, instead of being something new. This song could hint to Mona looking for Alison, or Bethany and/or Alison looking for someone. I think it's about Alison, but that's not the point. Maybe we finally see what happened that night. This song could be a hint that season 5 ends with the viewers and the liars finally learning about that happened the night Alison decided to go "walkin' after midnight." This could completely change the series, as they would finally know who killed Bethany, and what role Alison and Mona had that night. It would completely change the series because we would finally have a straight answer, and about an extremely important aspect of the show.
Marlene has said that we will learn who A is before season 7 starts, so it will be sometime during season 6. For us to have this huge information during 6 season, they need to give us something during 5B.
