Oooo I would love to hear about "but with you id dance in a storm in my best dress" please and thank you!
Oooo okay so I'm GENERALLY not a big shakadolin shipper, but a couple other fics inspired me to write the trio as yuri, specifically with Kaladin as transfem and established relationship Shadolin.
The premise is Kaladin thinks no one knows about her gender OR her crush on the princess and her fiancé, but The Lopen was the first one to figure both of those things out and has about as much subtlety as a caffeinated chasmfiend in the Elendel Basin, and basically everyone is trying to get Kaladin to realize how desperately the engaged Shadolin want her as their girlfriend, not their boyfriend.
Aaaand for a snippet:
"“You see, at first I thought you might have been wearing gloves to turn a new look because of your being a lighteyes and everything now. But I got to thinking, I had this cousin who was with this proper Vorin lady, wore a safehand glove all her life. Well one day, she refuses to put on a glove and my cousin drops her like a bridge in a chasm!”
“Okay. Is there a reason you’re telling me this?”
“I’m getting to that! Two years later, turns out his lady was actually a man and now they’re drinking buddies! There are these herbs and surgeries that the buddy's been getting and he’s much happier now! He’s even got himself a super fine lady of his own!” "
RULES: Make a new post with the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous, and tag as many people as you have WIPs. Then, anyone can send an ask with the title that most intrigues them, and you post a snippet or tell them something about it.

Hey so I liked the Thieves Duology by M.J. Kuhn a LOT and wrote what is—unless I somehow messed up an entire fandom tag and two character tags—the first fic on AO3 for the fandom!
I've said it before, but if you thought Mistborn didn't have enough heists, PoVs, lesbians, and swear words, this duology is ABSOLUTELY something you should give a shot.
Link to my fic below the cut. Doesn't spoil too much tbh but I still will recommend the books over my works every twice-damned time!

I've been sitting here for the past twenty minutes trying to decide which one to pick, and i have finally decided! I would really like to know more about Her Ruin!
(Also, it's not really important, but i accidentally read "Propriety is dead" as property is dead, and i thought that was some sort of crack fic real-estate agent stormlight au. Please dont ask.)
Lol Property is Dead: Jasnah Kholin provides universal housing to all Alethkar. I love it!
I'm gonna explain Her Ruin beneath the cut bc I have a friend that follows me who hasn't read Hero of Ages yet, and this has spoilers for that (and Mistborn Era 2, and Stormlight 5!)
Her Ruin is a five-chapter Mistborn fic I've got completely outlined but haven't started writing. The premise is that Sazed manages to defeat Ati while Vin and Elend are alive, and Vin takes up Ruin. Elend figures this out and is heartbroken, and Kelsier takes him to the Southern continent where Elend becomes a super depressed functionally immortal not-widower recluse.
Fast forward 300 years, Retribution formed and Sazed comes up with a plan to save Vin, who is losing control of Ruin. Kelsier grabs Elend and they go on an AdVeNtUrE to save Vin prevent Her Ruin from destroying Scadrial.
I'm torn between Pleeblight Archive, Radiant Gold and Kholinar International.
You're going to have to pick
Welp the first one there was Pleeblight Archive so I am gonna go with that one! It was an April Fools crack fic that I didn't finish in time for April Fools, meant to bring a kind of "Thomas the Tank Engine Skyrim Modpack" vibe to Stormlight Archive fics.
Set in an ambiguous AU where Vin is somehow a Ghostblood on Roshar. I hope you enjoy!
Vin woke up as she did most mornings these days; laying on her back with the weight of a beautiful Veden woman's head resting on her chest, legs tangled together. How Kelsier expected her to do his dirty work when the alternative was staying in bed all day to cuddle the woman Kel had sent her here to keep an eye on in the first place, she would never know.
Soft snores escaped Shallan's lips as Vin softly sighed, allowing herself to soak in the sickeningly domestic bliss. Shallan was somehow curled around Vin despite being nearly thirty centimeters taller than her, in a crescent posture that was sure to haunt Shallan's back in her old age.
Did stormlight heal chronic spinal injuries? Vin would have to ask Sazed, he knew far more about those kinds of things than she did.
Shallan shifted, and in a practiced maneuver, Vin took the opportunity to gently slide Shallan's head off of her, allowing Vin to lay on her side. Shallan stirred, eyes opening just a little before she wrapped her arms around Vin and under her shirt, burying her face in the shorter woman's chest.
Rusts, she's perfect. Vin thought, as she nestled her face in the taller girl's hair. Vin breathed her in, heart swelling as she closed her eyes and smiled. She mouthed an I love you into Shallan's hair just to see how it felt. It felt—
"Mmn... Vin?" Shallan asked, the nails of her safehand lightly scratching Vin's back. "Are you... eating my hair?"
How can she be so quippy this early in the morning? Vin huffed to herself as Shallan wiggled up in the bed until the two were face to face, their heads occupying the same pillow.
She leaned her face closer and closer to Shallan's, inching forward until their foreheads rested against one another, Shallan's breath ghosting Vin's lips.
Vin flared what little tin was still in her body from yesterday and kissed her deeply, tangling a hand in Shallan's hair as she let her senses overwhelm her.
After seconds that felt like lifetimes, Shallan pulled away, breath heavy and pupils dilated as Vin's tin wore off.
"Storms, good morning to you too, gemheart," Shallan smiled, eyes hazy with sleep but still filled with...
"I love you," Vin blurted out, before she could stop herself. "I wasn't eating your hair, I was mouthing the words to see how they felt to say, I just haven't really let myself be vulnerable with someo—"
Vin stopped as she felt Shallan start to shake next to her. She began to curse herself in her mind, but stopped short when Shallan's breathy trembling turned into a full on laugh.
It was only a moment before one unrestrained laugh turned into two, before it slowly but surely faded into a contented silence, Shallan pulling Vin close to her.
"For the record, I know," Shallan said as she closed her eyes again.
"Oh," Vin said. That... wasn't the response she was expecting to her first ever profession of love, but she supposed it could've gone wor—
"I didn't actually think you were eating my hair," Shallan said, letting out an amused huff, as though she thought she was funny (which Vin knew that for a fact, was the case). Her fingertips traced patterns along Vin's back.
Shallan pulled Vin into another kiss, this one far slower than the last. It was the kind of kiss that she knew would linger on her lips and mind for days to come, as Shallan threaded her fingers through those of Vin's safehand, and whispered like a secret;
Yeppers! It's a crossover of my two favorite extremely long macroseries: The Cosmere and The Legend of Heroes: Trails!
The Orbment system of the Trails games feel like they could be Invention's magic system, as do the separate mega-items that show up throughout the series.
Esseeeeentially the fic starts between games 2-3 of Trails and after The Lost Metal, with Retribution and Thaidakar both realizing the immense power of the inventions on Zemuria (which is the continent of Trails, but I'm making it the entirety of the planet.)
There's an event in the second game that I'm recontectuallizing as a physical location that was stored in the Spiritual Realm, and Invention's perpendicularity became permanently open with its return to the Physical Realm.
The main characters are Shallan, Marasi, Moash, and then a few Trails characters (I think there's only one person who follows me who would appreciate me specifying: Wazy, Kevin, and Cassius but those are the main two (lmao hi Demi, Stigmas are an Autonomy's avatar investiture system btw.))
But yeah! That's the vibe. Crossover with a couple chapters that I'm going to rewrite because I hated them but am VERY into the fic idea. (It's rough with both series being extremely incomplete but SHRUG it's called fanfic not multi-canonmeshing).
Set in an ambiguous AU where Tien lives, is a Lightweaver, and is in Urithiru.
I swear I've not been ignoring the asks in my inbox I've just been busy, mentally ill, and sick.
Shallan was sure that Captain Kaladin was going to kill her.
Kaladin isn't going to kill you, Veil attempted to reassure Shallan.
Easy words for someone who's not sneaking out to make out with the long-lost brother of the most prominent Radiant in Urithiru, Shallan bit back.
I would still be dead if he killed you. Not sure if you've noticed but we kind of share a body, Veil retorted before abruptly fading out of co-consciousness.
"Shallan!" Shallan shook herself out of her head as the tall, messy-haired mess of a boy she was courting jogged up to her.
Storms, she wanted to kiss him. She'd missed the feel of his soft lips against her own... the little sqeaks he made when she pushed him up against the wall of her quarters... the breathy, adorable way Tien murmured her name like a prayer as he tossed and turned in his sleep.
She couldn't kiss him right now though. Kaladin didn't like her, and that meant his men didn't like her, and they were everywhere. Granted, there was admittedly good reason for that, she had conned him out of his boots when they first met, and she never really addressed... whatever it was that the two of them shared in the chasms. The abrupt end to her engagement with Adolin looked bad from the outside as well, and she had no doubts that Kaladin had bore the brunt of Adolin's emotion in its wake.
Shallan looked about before subtly nodding towards a hallway. Tien either didn't notice or didn't care as he walked up and took Shallan's free hand, and she sighed in an indulgent defeat. She let the two of them slowly fade into the lightwoven disguises she'd drawn up in anticipation of Tien's eagerness jeopardizing her safety.
It was endearing, and well-worth it.
Shallan wordlessly dragged Tien down the twisting, turning hallways of Urithiru before opening a doorway and shoving the boy into some sort of utility closet, and quickly blocking off the entrance once the two of them were settled inside.
"Shallaaaan," Tien sighed. "Do we have to keep us a secret?"
"Well, that depends. How do you feel about your brother skewering the woman you're courting with his impeccable spear-skills?" Shallan quirked an eyebrow as Tien's face flushed red. "Stormfather, not like that!"
Tien burst out laughing, and Shallan couldn't help but join in, letting the lightweaving she'd placed over the two of them fade.
"That," Tien said, "was an image I could have gone without having in my thoughts."
"The one time I'm being serious and you, Tien Stormblessed, manage to make it about your brother having relations with me?" Shallan smiled, her freehand going to Tien's waist and her safehand draping over his shoulder, pushing her body against his and gently shoving him into the wall of the utility closet. "The scholars will marvel at how your mind works."
Tien smiles as the distance between their lips closes. Tien's hands gently cup Shallan's face as she captures his lips in her own.
Mine. Shallan can feel Radiant's knowing smirk in her head as she deepens the kiss, eliciting a breathy gasp from the boy she has pinned against her.
I wonder, do you think Tien's spear skills—
Shallan tunes Radiant's uncharacteristic teasing out as she pulls away from the blushing mess she's courting, a thin line of spit trailing between their lips as they pant for air.
"It will be a scandal," Shallan said.
"I'm second nahn."
"You're a Radiant, and that's not what I'm talking about."
"Well I don't care," Tien petulantly huffed.
"You don't care that your brother and his men will kill me?"
"Shallan," Tien said as he pulled her into a hug. "You seem to forget one very important thing."
"Which is..?" Shallan asked the question from where her face was now buried in Tien's scrawny, barely muscular chest.
"Kaladin Stormblessed loves me, far more than he hates you."
