Love to see the observation! There's a thing about it!
There's this uncommon trait that like, causes hair to take on the bird's feather pigment instead
Typically this affects all the way through (exampled by Raul and Mikau on the right) and you won't know what standard hair colour hides under it then. But in base-feathered Blues, Greens and Pinks this doesn't work completely and shows up more as partial fades, tints or streaks (as seen in Amarth and Nafi on the left)
