Oh, hey, another snake ruler! Want to eat greyfaces for dinner?
We’d love to.
“The disadvantages of this form...” Zed grumbled as he realized he was becoming sluggish once more. The day was cooling, and the only thing keeping him awake was the will to do so. He felt subtle differences in heat across the floor, and followed them until he reached a room, made for storage, with the kitchens just below.
The floorboards here were noticeably warmer, and though there were no windows for the sun to show through, the preparations that would signal the start of the working day would raise him. It was a simple matter for him to coil up in this room, his body becoming bedding for a welcome bout of sleep
M!A: Zed is now a massive naga. Think of the biggest snake ever. That's him.
((Does the word ‘Titanaboa’ mean anything to you?))
A sluggish, slow waking greeted Zed that morning, hugging his pillow as he felt his whole body like lead trying to shake of the veil of sleep. There was only one shut window in the whole room, and it did not even shine brightly, as it faced to the South West. For a moment, there was a jolt of fear through his mind, the voice in his center of paranoia jumping to the conclusion, I’ve been poisoned; someone got a sedative in to my food!
He looked around as fast as his addled body and mind would allow, and saw black lines coiling around the room. Had they thrown serpents or giant leeches in to his room to antagonize him in method of execution? He had to get to the window. trying to shift his legs, he found them unable to move, and when reaching down, found them covered with a scaly skin. What the hell is going on?! The only thing worse to the ninja than having a vague idea was having no idea.
In a panic, the Master ungracefully moved his body along the floor with clawing hands, and came to the window, throwing it open so violently, the shutter was torn from its slide. The light of the late afternoon, when Zed usually awoke for his nightly duties, streamed in, and reflected off of the massive, black length of smooth scales wrapped around the room. Already, Zed was gritting his teeth and searching for the head, but when he finally followed it to it’s front end, he found that his bottom half, from the waist down, had already disappeared in to the organic armor, replacing his legs with almost 10 meters of a serpentine form. As the sun warmed his back, and blood flowed more readily, reality sunk in, and he started to feel the rest of his body.
He moved his hips, to find the energy put in it rippling down the severely elongated spine. Slowly but surely, he began to move, feeling the muscles under his command... a much more extensive command... react to what would normally be the cycle of walking, adding the motions of his waist and core to move forward, and merely leaning side to side in order to make turns. After only a few minutes, he was experimenting with finer control of the sections, and shortly there after, dressing himself and exiting from his room, slatted eyes looking out from beneath his helm.
-puts a cover over Vivi's front-
She accepts the cover gratefully into her claws, covering her chest carefully and draws up her scarf to cover her throat with an embarrassed cough. “Thank you, Cheese...” Though she won’t make eye contact with her at all. This... caught her on her special day, damnit.
Open
Her long tail followed after her upper body as she slithered and shifted through the crisp leaves that littered the floor, every inch of her skin was covered in precious, thick wool and three layers of coats. It was her third day as a snake beast, and so far she'd gotten the hang of moving around.
A spell that the grey faces had given her, had actually proven to be of use. It was easier to get through places silently, easier to scare things off...And a lot more fun to scare the odd human here and there. But she couldn't help but think of all the things she could do today, or the rest of the week.
Could she get away with selling some of her toxic venom? Rivaled only by a king cobra itself? She was very tempted to, or sell a scale here and there. However, the worst mistake she'd make today, would be to rely on her sense of smell, and not her eyesight, as her chest and head crashed into someone.
"Oh god! I'm so sorry, you alright!?
"N'other day, n'other few hours of feeling super cold. Brrr, least I've gotten the hang of slithering around now" she smiled, gliding over the ground in an almost zig-zag motion " heheheh"
She's just going to curl up around herself and try to absorb as much sun as she can, because christ it is cold today. One thing she's also discovered about being a naga: They're cold blooded.
"Damn, feels like I'm in Antarctica" she shivered, cuddling her thick, black iridescent tail closer.
