i gotta say i genuinely Do Not Understand the complaints about how float got unlocked this chapter. deku using float against shigaraki has been foreshadowed since the beginning of this arc—it was always going to happen, it was only a matter of when. and the way it happened was *fucking cool*. the fact that endeavour, ryukyu and bakugo can technically fly without deku’s help isn’t the point. the point is that deku, who was closest to shigaraki, saw shigaraki about to use decay and he responded so quickly and so cleverly that he was able to instantly save everyone else in the vicinity before, i would argue, they could even realise what was happening. if you have a problem with the main character of this manga doing something so badass it briefly overshadows the other heroes of the story and throws the Big Bad for a loop, then i really don’t know what to tell you lmao
