"So as far as the mother-off, I would actually say something I loved about the development of this particular story is how Holly Hunter really shaped who Nahla ultimately shows up as for Anisha, that she was very steadfast in her convictions, that Nala would be warm, would be welcoming, would be understanding, and would approach Anisha with a spirit of I am not Caleb's mother, you are Caleb's mother. And I don't think through Holly's vision of the character that Nahla ever wants to take the place of Anisha, even though she herself has lost a son. And I think that was very important and really worked its way into our brains as we were coming, putting all the pieces together at the end of this season."

NAHLA/OBEL
this is K'RESSAH AKE-WOCHAK, the daughter of nahla and obel wochak, human/klingon/lanthanite <3 she is a huge party girl lol and ends up working for her father on new qo'nos eventually. she is obsessedddddd with ancient earth romance novels and is a major horse girl. she spends some time as a professional wrestler before moving on to work with obel on diplomacy and such for the klingon and other races
NAHLA/KELREC
This is HARMONY AKE, the child of nahla and kelrec---3/4 human, 1/4 lanthanite. part of my nahla ake 100 baby challenge series
Harmony does not know who her father is for most of her life, as she was the product of a drunken hookup Nahla tells herself she regrets, but finds herself drawn to Kelrec anyway and ends up joining the war college. Nahla names her Harmony as a war college fuck you, lol. She grows up pretty distant from Nahla, and ends up very reserved, quiet, and impulsive. Problematic fav and poor little meow meow....
NAHLA/ILLA
the first kiddos im introducing here are ESKAH (left) and JANNELL (right), nahla's twins with illa. my favorite hyperniche rarepair + i thought a cardassian/trill/lanthanite/human hybrid was a cool idea. i also remember seeing ridges on illa's nose, so they may be part bajoran as well, but i can't decide yet if i want the twins to be.
eskah is an engineering student at sfa. she is a total daredevil and has caleb level smarts which makes everyone kind of scared of her. she is GOING FOR CHIEF ENGINEER in the way genesis is going for captain and she is going to WIN. in her childhood she is really outgoing, the most outgoing of all of the kiddos, and she grows up taking bugs from the yard to keep as "pets", making potions out of mud, and being generally the weirdest little girl ever.
her fraternal twin is jannell, and jannell is kindaaa the opposite. she is VERY shy. in her childhood she is incredibly introverted and likes to talk to illa about all of dax's lives and experiences. she wants to be joined one day, which kinda scares both nahla and her sister. she is incredibly idealistic and a hopeless romantic, and she goes to sfa to study counseling <3
next up to be introduced in the "give nahla a kid for everyone i ship her with"/nahla ake 100 baby challenge will be harmony ake, the zeela kiddo <3
WELCOME TO NAHLA AKE FANKID CENTRAL
this is a blog for fankids of nahla ake, because the fandom seems to love making them :D you can submit your own here, or talk to me about mine!
my current project is the Nahla Ake 100 Baby Challenge, based off the sims challenge where you make a sim have 100 babies with 100 different fathers. but basically i'm giving nahla a fankid for everyone i ship her with. i'll update this with more links soon; info about my ocs is currently under the readmore.
we don't do ship hate here, this isn't a blog for one specific ship so you will see ANY nahla ship with fankid ocs, BUT i will tag every single one for blacklist purposes!
go crazy go ham go wild. i love nahla ake.
