Went 5-4 at NAIC this year using a slow balance team with Azumarill. I feel like I’ve really matured a lot in the past year as a player in terms of starting from the basics of building around good Pokémon as well as not trying to overpredict unnecessarily. Before my next tournament I’m going to work more on identifying the optimal paths forward in a game and getting more practice in with the team, two things that both came back to bite me in the early rounds of the torunament.
