Have you ever been pulled by someone, without the use of their arms?  Meet Jasmine. She walked into the coffee shop and I couldn't take my platonic eyes off her. I attempted to remain consumed with what was in front of me, but I was immediately uninterested. So, when she rose to leave, I was glad that she was just switching seats from an inside chair to the outside bench. The Brooklyn local has heritage from around the world; as an only child her friends are her family. Of particular interest to her is how our generation is hungering to connect and have community.  While she isn't in a rush to request, friend and like all whom she meets, I do feel comforted when our exchange ends.
