When Sofia said that Alistir couldn’t help but smirk raising an eyebrow at her biting on his lower lip as he leaned forward closing the distance between them. “That so baby girl,” he questioned rhetorically as he pulled her into his lap with little effort. Caden was smirking this time as he walked into their home. “Esme!” He called out, the boys went on a ‘fishing’ trips again. Okay it was more beers and one of them getting shoved into the lake but he managed to at least catch two fish and he was bringing one of them home. “I think the fishing trip was successful.” He mused as he put the brown paper wrapped fish in the fridge. “I caught two, and Jack’s ass was the one to go into the lake this time.” He mused with a little smirk.

After spending several years abroad things had changed. What hadn’t changed however was that when he finally came back home that he wanted to look for his best friend, at least he hoped she still was his best friend. Shortly before he left he had made quite a fool of himself by declaring her how much he loved her. The feeling had not been mutual and things had been awkward between them. Partly because of that he decided to go study in another country.  However, things were different now. Some years had passed and they had mostly corresponded through letters. He hadn’t written back as often as he should have because back then he had still felt heartbroken. Now he finally got to see her again in real life he realized just how much he had missed his best friend. “Hey Thea,” Elio says in greeting smiling fondly at her. “It has been way too long. It’s good to see you again.”

I really do.” She didn’t want Elle thinking that she didn’t want that, or that she wasn’t proud of being with such an amazing young woman.
