OHHHH so actually, the opposite if i'm being honest!!

I'm deeply un-sentimental and i hate owning things. this is a hangover from a) being a navy brat with a neurotic mother who was made to throw away everything 'non-essential' when we moved every 1-2 years and b) ten years of boarding school where my entire life had to fit into one trunk.

i own a very few trinkets: a solid bronze cast statue of a weird little wizard guy that i bought myself in an antique shop, a few bookends and little statues that were gifts and are functionally useful in propping up books or keeping doors open.

the thing i DO collect is other people's art! i have dozens and dozens of prints and mini-prints and stickers from my friends!!

I am reading a new fic, which I am enjoying WAY too much. I keep reading snippets aloud to my husband, who has been very tolerant most of the afternoon. He has finally had enough and left the room (after I assured him repeatedly that I would stop and then did not stop.) Yeah, I deserved that....
