You’re right - they can’t.

Ink is pretty lucky in this regards because he got fake emotions over the creativity - but that doesn’t mean he understands all emotions. AND Error is pretty confusing and hard to read on his own (with all his anxiety and glitching). Heck, Error even confuses himself!

Besides, I bet we can all agree that even beings with a soul have sometimes trouble reading the other one correctly ;D

He’s myope. The lens power is not even that high, but Error’s vision is overall not the best - even with glasses.

Everyone is free to interpret the vials the way they want. There is no specific color-emotion relation as of now. c:

However there are definitely more than 8 emotions - think about colors. There might be basic ones, but mix them up just a little bit and you get a whole different one. The same applies to emotions - there is a multitude of possibilities!

Well, that's because Ink doesn't make AUs. ;D Ink supports us Creators to make all these AUs and he protects them from outside forces such as art blocks. While Error destroys AUs, Error himself is one, too. And Ink protects AUs.

As for your question......

....we don’t. Currently we’re both pretty busy and we’re squeezing art in between as good as we can, but it isn’t much.

Art is a never ending learning process. We got much practise accumulated over the years and even though we don’t have that much time right now, we’re still honing our skills. Just continue drawing! Even if it’s not much right now, it’ll be much over a longer period!
