Just Trust Me
Some more Sabel and Rawlen from Of Revenge and Ruin. This actually sat, unfinished, in a folder for months.
Vague idea for this scene is Rawlen - and maybe the other aliens - have been captured by the Terran military force. Sabel is pretending to cooperate with the military, but will really be assisting Rawlen and his people.
She knows that the sheer numbers of the Terran military would overwhelm the aliens, very easily, so she has to be diplomatic and sneaky about helping Rawlen's people.
Might seem strange helping your prior captors, but she really doesn't have any love or connection to her ravaged planet or the people who made it that way.
