OOTL what is that letter

So this is a little Symphogear subplot that isn't in the main anime and takes place over the course of a few songs and a couple of the OVAs

Back in G, when Kirika thought she was going to die and be taken over by Fine, she wrote a letter, which the choruses of her song Tegami cover (ignore the verses for now, they're basically stream of consciousness type stuff. We're talking about the parts that start with "Dear ___" and end with "By Kirika" or any variation thereof)

It's worded awkwardly and simply, she misspells some words, and was definitely mistaken about the situation...But she tried so hard to put her feelings out there

After that whole situation passed she was embarrassed about it and tried her hardest to get rid of the letter. She even attempted to tear it up and throw it into the ocean

While she, Maria, and Shirabe were in prison after the Frontier Incident, Section 2 found it during investigations and pieced it back together thinking it could be a document that had information relevant to it. When they realized it wasn't anything of the sort, they decided to return it

Fast forward a bit and it would seem Shirabe was the one who ended up with the letter. In the lyrics of her song Draft Folder, she attempts several times to type out an answer to it but ultimately can't bring herself to actually send it to Kirika

Thankfully there are serviceable translations for both of the songs mentioned in this post out there if anyone reading this needs them

As a bit of a related side note, character designer Dan Yoshii did some art for merchandise back in 2014 that was based on the first verse of Tegami yes, I know I said to ignore the verses for this post but...
