I think Cierra genuinely liked Nic and high key knew Nic didn't like her as much as she liked him. Nic is also friends with a lot of people who are popular in the villa (Ace, Olandria, Chelley, etc.). So I think Nic was her way into that circle while also getting the votes for being a "day one" couple.

I noticed the lack of romance and was okay with it when I thought the show wasn’t going to go there for anyone, but seeing Trent and whatsherface tongue in full daylight has me squinting. Or the way Trent and Gabi never actually showed romantic intimacy despite having had a fling. It feels pointed and honestly really disappointing. But there were so many moments when Dhan and Ethan should’ve kissed, bc it’s a natural thing for couples to do. And it’s nothing. A peck. A hug. Like they’re roommates. And I know I’m a DhanZeke truther, but if I take my goggles off I see the same with Lacey and Zeke. Are they together? Are they not? Because as sexless as that relationship is, they could be platonic soulmates. That’s fine. But I don’t think that’s what they’re intending.

Dhan is the real heart of M&A. Deeply caring, loving and loyal to a literal fault because the way he gets attached to those who ‘save’ him is sad. It’s annoying that the show takes itself way too seriously in all the wrong ways because his issues (all their issues) should be addressed in a way deeper way, but they play them up for certain plots and then just ignore it otherwise and it really sucks. These are all deeply traumatized people who need help and are instead holding on by a thread because of M&A. Could be so interesting if well explored but instead they just don’t do anything compelling with it. Hate to see it 😔
You’re absolutely right. So right. They hit the nail on the head when it comes to things like Maggie and Zeke’s trauma (and how it manifests). They’re getting better about Lacey and Gabi, because in S1 they were very wooden. Dhan isn’t there yet.
Him basically saying “If any of you die, I will actually kill myself” was concerning as hell. He’s truly the heart of M&A and was the only one trying to keep the family together while Gabi was on the outs. But who’s taking care of him? Who’s helping him? That was supposed to be Ethan as his therapist!
Gabi really should’ve just taken Sir out but that would mean ending the show way ahead of schedule. Also I’m the anon who sent the Margaret ask and I’ll be honest I completely forgot that it’s only been a couple of days since the reveal. Once I rewatched I realized that Margaret’s reaction really does make sense because of everything you laid out and it’s not like Gabby‘s gonna really face any legal consequences so some attitude and icing out is pretty much all the punishment she’ll get. I think I just miss the team dynamic and think it’s way more interesting when they get along because everything feels a bit fractured right now
