Ooooooooooh. Ooooof. This is a very good question
So an idea that recently landed in my lap is that Reno blames himself for the loss of Veld and the other Turks. He feels like he did nothing when they were surrounded and Tseng shot both Veld and Elfé - which he eventually comes to reason “was out of necessity” to ensure their survival but he does believe that if he had have done something then Veld and Elfé would still be alive.
Then the same day he believes Veld was killed, the majority of the Turks go MIA after Zirconiade explodes and it’s believed that they are also dead. So since he arrived late and - by extension - did nothing to help, he believes that if he had’ve arrived sooner, they would still be alive.
COUPLE THAT IN WITH SECTOR 7 and the fact that he was involved, this guilt builds further and he’s just a mess and everything feels futile.
So I guess you could say his biggest regrets (aside from Sector 7) could be:
Not saving Veld
Not helping the other Turks in time
Taking the time he had with his Turk family for granted
