We're supposed to have a big snow storm coming through my area this weekend, so I was thinking I might do some snow magic/weather magic/something along those lines(?) for the full moon. So I thought I'd ask if anyone/the mods know of any spells that would fit that interest. Thanks!

Ooh, keep yourself safe, friend! We’re supposed to get snow too. I don’t know any off the top of my head - you could save some in a jar and have “snow” water, I suppose (snow is good for slowing things down, endings, resolutions, that sort of thing).

What about you guys, dear followers? What kind of things can you do with snow?

do any of the mods (or followers) forget how to study for tests like a week or a few days before a big exam? or how to write a paper? basically any studying thing where you're preparing for a long-term study session.

For me, yes. I’ll open up a word document to write an essay and just nothing comes, now matter how long I stare. Then the evening before it’s due, everything comes flowing. Same for studying, can’t focus at all long term but night-before cramming is like intense focus. It’s one of the times I experience the worst mental blocks. The other mods may or may not experience this as well, I’m not sure. I would say followers reply with whether you do too or not but someone had to take away the reply feature.

Could you explain the post about riding forward by visualizing your hands pushing against a wall? It doesn't quite make sense to me... Thank you!!

It is just another way to describe the quality of contact-- a lot of people ride backwards in their contact-- pulling on the horses mouth, rather than riding positively forward into the contact and developing the energy from behind coming up into their hands.  So, thinking about pushing the front of your closed fingers against a wall while holding contact will help with creating this.  ((if the visualization works for you.  every turn of phrase doesnt work for every rider))

I just followed this blog and I'm so happy it exists! I'm currently in my dorm room having an asthma attack, and I need to use my nebulizer's, but my roommate's asleep. Can I wake her up so I can fix myself?

I am aware that this message is probably months old and I just want to apologize! But anyways, your health is more important than your roommate's sleep. It might sound harsh, but it's true. Always put yourself first when it comes to your health; don't be worried about being impolite or disruptive because being able to breathe is a thousand times more important than them getting a little annoyed.

How would you recommend switching a cat from dry food to wet food? I have two cats, both on dry food currently, and my mom says they seem to prefer dry food to wet food. However, I will be taking one of the cats with me when I go to vet school, and I want to make sure that she's on an exceptional diet. Thank you!

personally, what i did was just offer amounts of wet food to my cats, gradually. they loved wet food as a treat back when they ate dry food, so getting them to eat it wasn’t much of a challenge. you can keep gradually increasing the amounts of wet food until you get to a point where it’s all wet food, and you sprinkle a small amount of kibble on top, until you don’t need to add the kibble at all! it’s important to not switch too abruptly, so you can avoid any intestinal upsetting.

i didn’t see the test, but a friend of mine told me that she basically ran two horses to death on-course? and she’s also my former trainer’s trainer, which is kinda meh, because my former trainer is quite rough with her horses imo. idk.

her test was super relaxed, but i don’t know shit about how she trains so i’m not surprised. what course/event was that do you know?
