Asra often wakes up earlier to get the shop ready so that MC can sleep in a bit longer.

The two of them would exchange a quick kiss before having breakfast, most of the time discussing what business needs to be done for the day.

Asra can be quick to tease MC in front of customers. Most of the time his comments are harmless, he often praises them for their amazing talents only for MC to be a blushing mess before the reading.

Every so often Asra encourages MC to sit with him in the nest of pillows. This often leads Asra to cling onto them and tries to get more kisses out of them.

When MC is stressed and exhausted, Asra will give them a shoulder or back massage. He hates seeing them pushing themselves too hard.

Customers often make cute comments on how adorable Asra and MC are together. Literally, everyone in the city knows it and it makes Asra so happy.

After a busy day, Asra tends to cling onto MC as they clean the place off. At first, they are not happy with Asra doing nothing but they can’t help but laugh when Asra starts kissing their neck and tickling them.

My girl's name is Elyon and she doesn't play any instruments but she has a wonderful singing voice though! The most embarrassing situation she's been in was when she was so sleep deprived fixing the shop's accounts and she decided it was a good idea to go to the market to shop for supplies. She misunderstood what everyone was saying and tried to go to sleep in a carpet shop.

Singing is a wonderful talent!!! and PLEASE OH MY GOD MAKE SURE SHE GETS SOME REST!!! I LOVE HER

OH MAN THANK YOU!! I actually took a little bit of inspiration for their characters job from a character from the Mlacklist called Mr Kaplan who cleans up crime scenes and diposes of bodies for one of the main characters.

I thought how interesting it must be to be a Cleaner for a crimelord or syndicate. You’re right in the middle of everything, you know everything and it’s a position that must have a lot of trust, they’re putting you in charge of making sure they dont get caught for their wrong doing’s after all.

Isa is a quiet, ever present podium of self control and dry snark, taking a sip from their whiskey and raising an eyebrow at nightly shenanigans

44. “you’ve always felt like home.”

“Asra, why do you travel so much?”

He looks up at you, surprised by how direct the question is and how out-of-the-blue it is; you were both sitting on your favorite pillows in the divining rooms, studying journals and tomes by the light of the afternoon sun when you broke the silence. You blush a little bit under his gaze and bow your head. 

“I’m sorry, you don’t have to--“

“No, it’s fine. I just... never really thought about it.” He crosses his arms and his brows scrunch together near the middle of his forehead before he smiles up at you apologetically. “I’m going to have to think about this.” 

You nod in reply, unfurling the next book. After you’ve tried to read the first paragraph for either the 6th or 7th time, you excuse yourself from the room and snatch up the teapot to brew a fresh pot of tea. He thanks you for the tea, still (hopefully?) pondering your question. 

The afternoon clouds part, brightening into a red sunset, but Asra is still in the same position as earlier. It’s only when you ask him to help with dinner that he uncrosses his legs and rises soundlessly from his seat. You can tell he’s deep in thought, so you have him wash the vegetables and tidy up the cupboards as you chop and stir. 

The prep work is done, the ingredients are bubbling on the stove when he turns to you and announces quietly “I have an answer.”

You turn to him, expectant, and he continues, “I don’t know if you’ll like it.”

“Well, we won’t know until you tell me.” You lay a hand on his arm and he sighs. 

“There’s so many places and things I want to see... and granted I’ve already seem so many of them, but...” He’s hesitant with his words, and they tumble out of his mouth in twos and threes, not at all like the smooth cascade you’re used to. 

“I’m also afraid of growing tired of our life. I’m a selfish person. I leave things and people that I get tired of,” and your heart sinks. 

You turn away to tend to the pot. Chills run up and down your arms and you glance to check for goosebumps, but instead your hands are shaking. Is he growing tired of you? His own apprentice? Would he disappear one day and just leave you behind? 

“It’s different now.” His hands slip over yours and you feel his chest press into your back, his chin rest gently on your shoulder. His breath tickles your ear. 

“I leave because I’m afraid of hurting you. There are so many things I want to tell you but I just can’t because I don’t know what would happen with your memories, and when it gets to be too much for me, I leave. Call me selfish, call me spoiled, but with you...” he clears his throat,

“I know I’ll always have a home to return to.”
