I decided to look up the mineral resources reported for the coastal and near-coastal regions of Greenland, because of the high probability of that being why Prez. Donald Trump thinks the U.S. should have it.
Looking to near the Southernmost point, I spotted something fascinating, there are gold reserves at Nalunaq and to the northwest at Storø as well, but the really interesting thing, to me, is that the Key identifies orange as referencing non-critical raw material deposits.
Since we know that Donnie loves gold more than he loves any of his wives—maybe, just maybe—that is why he wants Greenland. Seeing as how they dared to demean his second favorite thing on Earth by calling it non-critical.
