re: collective names. i love it when systems decide unilaterally that the way they want to be referred to is the way all systems feel. /s the idea that using my REAL LEGAL NAME that i’ve been using for years at my JOB and my BANK and with STRANGERS is anything comparable to deadnaming me. ugh. sorry you don’t have to post this i’m just frustrated. trans & a system with way too many alters to even remember them all, let alone try to unblur all the time, LET ALONE try to feel connected to every name i have. sigh.
Absolutely valid!! (Coming from someone who is also a trans system who would like to be called by our individual names, and potentially change our legal name to an agreed upon collective name)
I’m lucky that my communication allows me to be aware of who I am usually, and that my system size is relatively small.
