Going down the memory lane I remember growing up in my childhood days and its challenges. One of such challenges was coping with the name I was given by my parents. I had always thought the name was not popular because, apart from myself, I had never see any other person bearing the same name. There were very common names among my peers and I wondered why my parents didn't give me any of those ones. My siblings even made the matter worse as they would sometimes twist the name and make fun of me, especially if I had misunderstanding with them. I desired so much to change the name if possible, at least to the one that suits me. At a point, I asked my mum the meaning of my name, she explained to me. Although I didn't ask why I was given the name but I suspected why. Along the line I realized a lot of people actually bear the name, especially from my tribe. But what shocked me was the discovery I made when I typed my name in google to search for my book 'The Mystery Coconuts'. I found someone from a complete different race bearing the same name with me. This aroused my curiosity to research into this name and its meaning in different parts of the world. So I need your contribution. If you bear this name either as first or last name, or this name mean something in your language, please explain and mention where you are from. My name is CHIKA. Which is a short for CHIKAZO meaning God is the Supreme Saviour. I am from Igbo origin in Nigeria #Chika #namelove #nameandmeaning #loveyourname #realname #namesearch #nameacceptance #supername #royalname #popularname https://www.instagram.com/p/BxCohgkFjD8/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=14l4amdg9e61g
