How To Choose Your Name

When picking a name, try to look for names that have sentimental meaning. Think of something that means a lot to you; a color, animal, a trait associated with you (being the oldest child, being kind, or anything!), an interest (astrology, plants, mythology, etc.), or something else.

Then, you can search "[ethnicity] names meaning [thing]" and use websites like Behind the Name to find a name from your ethnicity meaning the thing you've chosen. This website has pretty diverse options, so you should be able to find something! If not, baby name websites will be your BEST FRIEND.

Also, keep in mind that your name doesn't need to come from your ethnicity, so go with a name that you feel you can truly connect to, and see yourself using in the future.

Hello! Could I perhaps have some masculine Chinese names that have a meaning to do with 'life'?

Masc Chinese Names Meaning "Life"

Baisheng (百生) : 百 (bǎi) meaning "one hundred, numerous, many" and 生 (shēng) meaning "life"

Shihua (世华) : 世 (shì) meaning "life, age, generation, era" and 华 (huá) meaning "splendid, illustrious, Chinese"

Shou (寿) : 寿 (shòu) meaning "long life, longevity"

Shengpeng (生朋) : 生 (shēng) meaning "life" and 朋 (péng) meaning "friend"

I recommend looking for names with 生 (shēng) or 世 (shì) if these aren't what you're looking for!

Mexican Names

This one was a bit hard, as I didn't get too clear of an answer... but! I was able to find names that had recently came to be popular ++ common patterns!

For girls, the name Isabella and Sofia were the most common. A common pattern for girls were nature names like Aurora, Luna, Mar, Azul, Dalia, Alondra, and Génesis. Names that were not popular with girls were compound names (Ana Victoria, María José, Ana Paula, Emma Sofía, Ana Sofía, Astrid Izel, Emma Valentina, and María Emilia)

For boys, the names Santiago and Mateo were the most common. A common pattern for boys were biblical or names inspired by saints like Noé and Adán.

A common pattern for all names were A names; Armando, Alejandro, Andrea, Aurora, etc...
