not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere but will Her Fire be having physical copies? i may or may not have a desperate need to put it on a shelf.

Awwww, anon!! 😭 Short answer: Yes, it will! Longer answer: Because of how I have to go about doing physical copies, I wont have stock available on demand, but I do want to open like, batch orders of signed copies of the book + prints of the cover illustration + maybe make some stickers and bookmarks? I dunno! But, yes, I am definitely pursuing physical copies, and I'm hoping I'll be able to do them very soon after the ebook releases January 30th! ♥

Hello! Love your art and happy I found you on Tumblr since leaving Twitter! I would just like to point out (if you didn't already know!) that that you don't have to censor the word incest or any other words and it's better if you don't for filtering purposes

I do that for the sake of discoverability because censoring the word in the tags is how you actually find the content. The word itself, as a tag, has nothing in it and cannot be searched. Various censored versions, though, are tags that can be searched. I can always just dupe the tags in future posts tho without the censoring so it doesn't slip past filters and gets to where I want it to go lol.

Hi!!! I’ve been a fan of yours for some time now! I’m glad you made a blog bc im a bit shy and didn’t know how else to ask this; I could’ve sworn I had read a black stag/white doe short story that dealt with Idris giving Illa their wedding rings! Is it not available in ebook form yet? I can’t find it on your ao3, which is where I remember reading it (correct me if I’m wrong!) but I’d be more than happy to buy it if you ever put it up for sale - it was the first story of yours that hooked me on their lovely relationship!!

Hey anon! So, I did have that story up for a long while on my AO3, but I took it down. I've grown a lot as a writer in the last two years, and Ila and Idris as characters have evolved a ton in that time too, so I kind of look at older work with a sense of...it misrepresents them and their story as it exists now, if that makes sense. (TL;DR: I want to write a proper novella sequel/epilogue to the metal band novel once it's done, wherein Idris proposes to Ila and it's a very fraught experience for both of them with more at stake than what the original short story had) If you like though, I can whip up a quick ebook version of the story/any others you might not be able to find anymore but would like to have and send that to you, free of charge. ^__^ All I'd need is for you to shoot me an email to [email protected] so I know where to send it!
