So I knew you could actually can go back to the naming cliff(I think with glitches or mods or something?), but today I just learned that Aloy has dialogue to go with it and now I'm sad. :(

Does this mean this area was supposed to be in the game and we could actually go back to the location without using glitches and stuff?

The Naming Cliff inner altar, set directly in the spring that feeds the waterfalls there, with some very interesting parietal paintings and hand prints.

There’s an invisible wall barring the passage after the altar but it can be bypassed with a mount. (Not that it goes anywhere, just into the clearing behind the cliff)

Path to the Naming Cliff (The one Rost takes, anyway) Some details. I had forgotten I meant to actually go take a closer look. I couldn’t from the Naming Cliff side, there’s weird invisible ground happening, but I’ve gotten very close from the other side before, so I bet I can get a lot closer with the no-reload on PC, now… It’s a shame nobody gets to see the details, there’s ton of stuff on the cliff face. I took those picts on ps4 with a non-patched base game and a flying glitch.
