The spreadsheet itself is pretty much finished, all that’s left now is some more testing and writing some posts and putting together some images so I can release it onto the forums...
wish me luck
Improvement/Bug Fix: The names generated by Stranger Namer can now just be copy and pasted, instead of needing “Paste Special -> Values only”
Bug fixes!
- Made it so duplicate type combinations no longer cause #REF! errors. Instead, the spreadsheet will quietly edit these out of the title generator, while telling you that the combination already exists.
- Duplicate Names will be highlighted in red, but they’ll also be automatically renamed so you can tell them apart when selecting types. (also so it doesn’t give you a “Combination already exists” error when there is none)
- Implemented a checkbox that stops all the calculations for the amount of possible names, since those aren’t really necessary outside of deciding how rare or common certain type combinations should be.
Note to self: Never give a lore dragon a 16-character name generated by my spreadsheet
Revamped the type selection sheet for Stranger Namer :3
The test names really put the “strange” into “Stranger Namer”
*squints at my formula* ok now what tf do u do again
Edit:
Well, whatever it’s doing, looks like it’s at least doing it correctly now
