truth be told idk the extent of this "ban" besides the "month-long documentation and verification" period that the government is imposing, and if i could even call it a "ban" in the first place
all i know is that i couldn't visit the site for like a week straight and i was too tired to figure out why until i found out through fucking twitter (X) that the Philippine government flagged the thing as a gambling site 🥀
i can still use the site with VPN and there's a better way to circumvent it, but i'm taking this opportunity to showcase the Philippine government's poor judgment and inability to do things correctly. it's not THAT deep, but ur telling me they flagged this SNS platform for shady shit when 9 out of 10 filipinos online would probably agree that f/ceb/ok and t/legr/m promote much worse content???
anyway i'm saving all my drafts locally as soon as possible and i will keep in touch for updates LOL but if they do end up banning tumblr in a month, i should be reachable on ao3 (or discord at @/antimarleyan, for my mutuals here)
