With Namjoon it probably is just because he likes playing with it.

But like have you noticed Namjoon doesn't react to Jungkook's touch much other than like looking at Kookie. Like he is so used to it.

Jungkook being Namjoon's #1 support system

During Award shows on multiple occasions I've seen Jungkook stays right beside Namjoon and before anyone says it's their official I think standing order (v, sg,jin, jk, rm ,jm, jh). I'm not talking about that. Usually Jungkook sits beside Joon on multiple occasions in awardshows. That's not to say they don't randomly pair off.

During most if not all American award shows and carpet interviews.

There are two people Namjoon actively initiates physical contact with to be fair just because this is about namkook doesn't mean I'm blind or I'm going yoongi or others ot7 agenda lives 😤

That is not to say he isn't a serial waistholder or doesn't show affection to the others Joon is a waist man and we know it.

Even though he might not actively say it. He likes physical contact but with yoonkook I think it helps him ground him because he knows he can rely on them.

Funny enough even Yoongi's primary love language is Acts of service

Jungkook is empathetic. So if someone is going through a tough time he wants to be there and he also wants to provide any support they may need.

To be clear about this there are members who provide support and members who are given support and members who are neither.

The first category is Jin and Hobi (with the exception of him wanting to leave predebut and Jungkook cried with him) and the second are Jimin and RM and third are Yoongi and Taehyung

Since this is Namkook let's come back to it before I get sidetracked any further.

Jungkook support Namjoon by

Telling him he trusts him and believes in him

Offering to help in whatever way he can

Showing interest in what Joon is doing regardless if he finds it interesting or not.

The first is established like him saying he wants RM to be his leader for life

The second I really noticed when I was watching bangtan bomb (or episode) when Namjoon was learning his speech for UN. At first Jungkook just peeked cautiously. Then it was time to board their private jet. Since they divided seats based on luck Jungkook was very happy to recieve the more comfortable seat along with Jin but what happens is the video doesn't end there. It continues with Jungkook talking in the dim lights about how he gave his seat to RM because RM was working so hard.

This really sticks to me because this is a very real Namkook moment to me like they're both competitive as anything and Jungkook is a person who really doesn't like to share or be charitable as opposed to Jimin who really would do anything to make people he likes comfortable or Jin who takes his responsibility as an elder hyung very seriously.

But quietly saying here you can have that. Jungkook really doesn't do it often and if you know Jungkook you know what I'm talking about. That's not to say he doesn't care about his members. He's just the sweet spoiled baby of the group.

Namkook whispering

To be fair it's mostly Jungkook whispering in Namjoon's ear. Like I don't think I've seen the other members whisper to each other unless they're in a concert. This kind of thing is not normally noted but since I personally dislike people who when in a group keep whispering I made a note of it. Jungkook is always explaining Gen Z terms to Joon (abc's by bts interview) (b for brekkie and NJ confirming if its actually a word) and others things which you and I may never know. Like in run bts eps notably the staycation one which is on top of my head being recent.

These are the reasons why Jungkook is Joon's #1 support 💜

Another notable mention is Jimin but his support is more emotional and Jin is a reliable Hyung but both of those are not limited to Namjoon.
