Personally, I have seen lots of art comparing finning to taking hands. However, its more like taking limbs and I know just the guy to illustrate it on fishermen. 
(Its estimated 73 million sharks are involved in the global shark fin trade each year. In fact, it was reported on February 4th, 2020, 1,400 lbs or 635 kg of shark fins were seized in Miami. One instance last year involved 635 kg of fins.)
