Watch Revolutionary Girl Utena instead.

1) It's actually deep.

2) It doesn't forgive it's abusers.

3) The story is actually more woman-centered cuz it's legitimately a good commentary on how the patriarchy oppresses everybody.

4) It actually addresses deep topics with the utmost importance, rather than doing a surface level portrayal of it so it could never be brought up again.

5) The evil purple haired character doesn't take up 99% of the screentime abusing everybody and sympathy fishing.

6) Actual Real Yuri all throughout the series.

7) A more unique use of the "Trapped Reality" trope.

8) COOL SWORD LESBIANS WITH COOL SWORD FIGHT SCENES.

9) The Good Ending actually feels earned rather than it being a complete Deus Ex Machina of everything.

10) And most importantly, YOURE TAKING AWAY SUPPORT FROM A KNOWN RACIST N4ZI!!!!

GooseWorx is the creator of amazing digital circus, and she has been called out on multiple occasions for making racist jokes and supporting nazism.

The most infamous tweet I could remember was this one

(For context: Shadman is a prolific neonazi who draws ch*ld porn, he has went as far as to draw ch*ld porn of a podcaster’s 8 year old daughter in a way to get back at them for making a video on him.)

There was also this entire rabbit hole with a birthday stream where her, Michael Kovach and Ashley Nichols were playing a game and one of them started this trend of saying negative (with the tive part cut off) as a loophole to say the n-word, and I just think she’s just generally so irresponsible with how she uses her platform because whether she likes it or not? She’ll still influence people, especially with her fanbase of children. So after that incident, I’ve seen black fans complain about getting harassed by white fans and calling them the n word both online and at cons.

This is also a huge disclaimer but this is in no way shape or form saying that people should harass GooseWorx and the cast of TADC? but this is more on trying to inform people on where their support might be going to. I don’t really care if you forgive her or not, I just want more people to be aware. (I also encourage to dig deeper cuz there’s definitely more than what I’ve covered here)

Sometimes, I come across comics where it's supposedly about R*pe/SA and it's the hero of the story saving the victim

And some of them are good like Wonder Woman rebirth for example

But then there are like— some stories where it feels like an ego stroke and it mainly happens with male MCs, like rather than an actual focus on said mc helping the victim heal and fight against the perpetrator?

The emphasis is mostly on how much violence the male savior will inflict on the abuser as revenge for the victim, it's all about how angry the male savior feels, not about how the victim feels.

As a victim of SA myself? It's just so annoying that this kind of trauma is often just used as a plot device to glaze male characters, like— I want death upon r*pists as much as the next person!

But when is it actually about helping victims find justice and not just an excuse for a male protagonist to be violent?
