Ah, he had missed their warmth. His thumb even drifted across the skin beneath their eyes. ❝I hope you have not been getting into any mischief while you were away, especially without me. That would be truly shameful.❞ He smiled, genuine and warm; haughtiness temporarily placed aside for contentment.

       Something tells him that a workout routine with Enkidu would leave him very sore and tired.

whatever romani had in mind... it all disappeared when enkidu started to undress him and say those words. what on earth did he think when he pinned them against a wall!

“I am so sorry. I know... I know you don’t... I mean your legend. I mean... nevermind that!” he quickly takes a few steps back, fingers trying to close his buttons. he shouldn’t get close to people , at least not like that. and while romani is aware that enkidu might even start a discussion about being a person... to him, they are very much one. curse that whole thing about them being a claydoll. they felt emotions, they had learned to become someone. maybe that is why he is so drawn to them. enkidu started as something, a mechanism but gradually learned about humans. solomon had been a human, turned mechanism.

with a soft smile he leans down to press a slow kiss against their lips. “I respect you too much to just act on this.”

About as far as one can, while being a Heroic Spirit? If we’re talking strictly about Karna’s Nasuverse/Fate self. He’s summoned, has a master to defend and fight for, battles to win and a cup to hand over at the end. There’s very little deviation from the norm in regards to that, and it’s not so different from how he lived his mortal life. He planned campaigns, fought wars, and made sure those in his care were properly protected. The stakes were higher then, but he hasn’t lost the experience of being a warrior and a king.

In Karna’s other verses it depends. As a tattoo artist and bartender he feels relatively put together, but sometimes things are tight. Same as for everyone else, Karna just tries to make ends meet and keep certain details about his situation from his father when they talk. As a devil hunter in DMC’s universe, things are a little less optimistic. There’s no guarantee of stability and Karna doesn’t make a habit of staying in one place long or interacting with anyone who may not have work for him. For p.ersona he’s a bodyguard and things are relatively easy.

All in all Karna is decent about balancing his profession and personal life, if he’s kept from hyper fixating on the details. He’s got a bad habit of doing that and once it starts he can quickly spiral into an unreasonable state.

...and sometimes he may forget to eat. Comes with the territory.
