Seeing clips of filming for Dancing with the Tide and some online comments are making me worried we are getting a sad ending. The characters go through so much in the book that a sad ending would have been too much, but the book definitely makes it easy to give an alternate sad ending. The real ending does feel less realistic, but I don't think I can handle it if the drama goes that route. It looks like they are adding a lot more overt romance to the drama to possibly balance out a sad ending. Scared 😬. How many times do we have to cry for Tan Jianci?

Holy crap it’s that time of year again!! Happy birthday to my beautiful and amazing boyfriend!!! 

You’re a delight in my life and I hope that these presents can make your special day a bit more special. :) I’m forever grateful to have met you and gotten the chance to ask you out. You’re the best boyfriend in the world and I love you so much!!!

This year I went in a more experimental route - We have a colored ink painting of Nan Yi and Tian and a watercolor of Rex. It was a ton of fun!

Some copic practice and an experiment in using inks instead of watercolor.

Inks are much more challenging than I remember! I love how they don’t get muddy, though.

Trying out a different digital style than I usually use. I enjoyed this a lot!!! I might try it again, despite how much I hate inking. 

Daniel and Nan Yi are adorable together. ;U; I didn’t bother to draw in their scars, but I might do that later.
