Did Roman wanna scope out the friendly competition? Yes, he did. Honestly, he didn't see this as a true competition, because there was no true winner. People wanted to get money to pay their staff and their bills and... add to the community, or whatever. Obviously Roman wanted to make a turnover, but he also wanted to show off his creations. And he mostly enjoyed seeing what other people were doing for inspiration... and it was nice to eat something he hadn't cooked.
He was checking out the menu of Nancy's when he spied the woman herself. He felt himself smirk, catching her eye and approaching. "Hey, Nancy. How's it going?"
