Made In Bangladesh (2019) — Twenty-three-year-old Shimu works in a clothing sweatshop in Dhaka. She decides to start a union with her co-workers. Despite threats from the management and disapproval from their husbands, the women are determined to find a way to improve their lives.

Sorry to Bother You (2018) — In an alternate reality of present-day Oakland, California, telemarketer Cassius Green (Boots Riley) finds himself in a macabre universe after he discovers a magical key that leads to material glory.

Dolores (2017) — An essential yet largely ignored figure in the labor movement, Dolores Huerta rose above 1950s gender conventions to co-found the country's first farmworkers' union.

The Hand That Feeds (2014) — Twelve undocumented immigrants face an uphill battle and the threat of deportation when they take on the popular restaurant in New York City where they are overworked and underpaid.

Brothers on the Line (2012) — Taking a stand against oppressive conditions, young autoworkers Walter, Roy, and Victor Reuther faced intimidation and physical violence from “security” agents in their effort to coordinate sit-down strikes, the most successful occurring at the General Motors facilities in Flint.

9 to 5 (1980) — Three office workers live out their fantasies of getting even with, and overthrowing, their autocratic, sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical, bigoted boss. A comedy, but realistic in its portrayal of the office environment many women dealt with, and in some cases, still do.

Norma Rae (1979) — A textile worker (Sally Field) is fed up with the inhumane working conditions at the mill and joins the effort to unionize. Field won an Oscar for her performance.

Salt of the Earth (1954) — At New Mexico's Empire Zinc mine, Mexican-American workers protest the unsafe work conditions and unequal wages compared to their Anglo counterparts. When an injunction stops the men from protesting, however, the gender roles are reversed, and women find themselves on the picket lines while the men stay at home.
