This Saturday marks the annual Michelle MacNaught Benefit Auction. Michelle was an extraordinary artist whose life and talent ended far too soon at age 21 in 2011, after a battle with stage IV Ovarian cancer. In memory of Michelle’s legacy and courageous nature, The Michelle MacNaught Memorial Fund awards scholarships at Delaware County High Schools to graduating seniors based on their involvement in the school’s art programs, in addition to offering grants for arts projects in and out of the county’s public schools and ovarian cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
