Day Fifteen - Nancy Landgraab
Nancy: Why do none of the bathrooms work?
Nancy’s having a little trouble getting used to the way things work, or rather don’t work, in the New Penelope. George gently reminds her that there’s a perfectly good pool to go pee in before he reluctantly fixes the toilet.

VOICE OF REPORTER - “Good evening, I am Robert Stead ...and welcome to a special edition of Unexplained Mysteries... We are here this evening in Oasis Springs talking to friends, relatives and former suspects in the Unexplained Mystery of the disappearance of Bella Goth. Sixteen years ago this month, Ms. Goth left her home for a piano recital in Willow Creek and was never seen again. Our first guest tonight is Ms. Nancy Landgraab, a long time resident of Oasis Springs, and CEO of L&L Enterprises. Nancy was a lifelong friend of Bella Goth and was very close to her at the time of her disappearance.... So Nancy, what can you remember about that day sixteen years ago?”
NANCY- “Thanks Robert. I remember that day very vividly. I called Bella early that morning before I was to go into Court. My husband and I were going through a messy divorce and it was to be finalized that day...”
REPORTER- “Geoffrey Landgraab, correct?”
NANCY- “Remington, Geoffrey Remington, he took back his birth name in the divorce, but yes.... My oldest son, Johnny had came back to Oasis Springs that year and due to circumstances surrounding his birth, Geoffrey and I divorced. But anyway, I was confiding in Bella during that time, as our children were starting to date, my son Johnny and her daughter Cassandra.”
REPORTER- “Johnny Zest, the actor/comedian?”
NANCY- “If that is what you call what he does, yes. I remember she seemed very distracted that morning, and I even asked her if something was wrong. She said that Mortimer, her husband was leaving for Windenburg for a business trip that afternoon and she had a bad feeling about it. She was quirky that way. A sixth sense some would call it. And when she got those feelings, something usually happened.”
REPORTER- “And did something come of it?”
NANCY- “Something did happen, something horrific, but it didn’t effect Mortimer. He missed his flight. The plane that he should have been on malfunctioned and went down in the Bay, killing all 12 of the passengers and pilot. I heard about it as I was coming out of the courthouse, and not knowing that Mortimer had missed his flight I called her immediately, but she didn’t answer. So I called Cassandra. She said her father was fine and that her mother was lying down. She had a severe anxiety attack.”
REPORTER- “Was that common for her, to have anxiety attacks?”
NANCY- “Oh, yes, from as early as I can remember. They got worse after she had her daughter.”
REPORTER- “Thank you Ms. Landgraab, We are going to break for a commercial and will return with Nancy in just a few....”
DEATH- “Oh look...I am doing a two for one!! ... Uh...Rose?”
ROSE- “What?”
DEATH- “Don’t look now, but it’s another jogger.....
ROSE- “SHIT....Hurry up, get their souls and get out of here.”
DEATH- “Not likely. I have a feeling that guy over there, knows this lady in the bad jogging suit.”
