Ok so since you've asked, I think our pretty alpha Jay is a complex charecter:

1st he is always the moral compass both in Niki and Hee's stories so I know his love story is very "right". However in both fics Jay is the ultimate partner but he is never chosen so I think it can make him insecure like "where is my happy ending?" "Why not me?" Vibes.

2nd- the fact that he smells like citrus is so perfect for his real life personality- bold, unwavering and consistent. Like if you peel an orange the entire room will smell like citrus for the whole day - that's our Jay.

And 3rd - I think the fact that his parents are fated mates makes him want to experience this type of love too. His upbringing is forcing him to be romantic and believe in love so he is very honerable and open. But again, this might add to the pressure to find his mate already.

To sum it up - a very romantic yet frustrated Jay who wants to love and be loved already but can't find her. He is about to give up on love, maybe already did but then - reader shows up and shakes his world. "Oh you're a lemon? Then I'm flaming hot honey"

1. “why not me” vibes ESPECIALLY when people keep joking “ah jay you’re too good i need to keep my gf away from you” and he’s like?? ok first of all i don’t want your gf and second of all if i was that good then where is my mate?? why am i the punching bag ☹️☹️☹️

2. YES!! jay’s aura is insane you can’t just ignore him his presence is so palpable that heads turned everywhere he goes (this is canon)

3. YUP YUP YUPPPP!! having true mates as parents definitely helps shape him as a gentleman that he is now BUT IT ALSO SETS A STANDARD FOR HIM like i hv to hv my happy ending too and it might result in him being quite destructive to himself/controlling beyond reason (oops!)

Also I think Jungwon's story line is so interesting because even tho he's a strong alpha and is bound to have people submitting to him, his omega is still like "boy you're a minor gtfo" lol. It's a unique arc I think.

What do you think about people who are saying that JW being shady on Youngji's show?

jungwon was not being shady.

i think those people just never wanted to listen. if you truly listened to him you would understand that the one who wanted ot7 more than anyone was him. that’s how much he values the members. just, listen to him. without any narrative or filter just listen to what he said as it was. look at how close he was to tearing up.

he cherishes his members, all six of them so, so much. things just don’t align anymore. the six of them still wanted to continue as a group and that’s fine. heeseung wanted to pursue a solo career and that’s also fine. saying “i’d rather they disband” seems a bit heartless isn’t it, when jungwon just revealed how much they love the team and wants to last a long time?

have they ever stopped and asked if enhypen even wanted to disband? have they ever stopped thinking about their own feelings and for once, started thinking about enhypen’s? because after all, the one affected the most by this is enhypen themselves.

i think they’re underestimating the depth of friendships, especially the one with a close-knit bond like enhypen’s. we’re talking about 6 years of friendship here.
